University-wide Events Calendar

Providing a range of free and paid public events is a key component of The University of Melbourne's public engagement strategy. As the previous events calendar had major design and technological failings, it made sense to create a new, beautiful events calendar that would help convey the events being run in a positive light. To make this happen, I championed and led a team of web professionals to redesign and recreate a University-wide events calendar.
Working very closely with internal clients and using an iterative agile process, we worked to develop and deploy a back-end system (powered using ActiveAdmin), complex internal workflows and a redesign events calendar interface.
